Application for Three-Year Salary Bonus Recognition for Services Rendered in the Public Sector

Executive Agreement 15602/2024 of 4th September regulates the Salaries of Research Staff, as well as Technical and Operational Research Support Staff affiliated to projects, competitive grants to recruit staff, research groups, chairs, agreements and contracts in Article 60 of Organic Law 2/2003 of 22nd March on the University System, where the UIB participates. Article 4 in this agreement includes the professional categories where non-civil service staff who are hired under projects, grants to recruit staff, research groups, chairs, research contracts or agreements must be affiliated.
For the purposes of setting the seniority bonus for these research staff members, and technical and operational research support staff, the entire time they have rendered effective service to any public administration will be considered. The period for services rendered in public sector roles in EU Member States must be included in the calculation of the three-year salary bonus (except services deemed mandatory). Moreover, services rendered in public administrations in countries where the free movement of workers applies by virtue of international treaties signed by the European Union and ratified by Spain must also be considered.
